San Diego Animal Hospital Vet Mother Earth

We believe in nonprofit Veterinary Care and Welcome Your Cooperation!

The infrastructure of Vet Mother Earth includes a board of directors, volunteers, advisors, and of course the future staff of Vet Mother Earth: veterinarians and veterinary technicians.

Our aim is to raise funds to acquire licenses and hire staff once we secure our initial clinic location, whether it’s donated, leased, or purchased.

Like many nonprofits, we recognize the critical role that fundraising departments play in sustaining and advancing our mission. Our dedicated fundraising team is committed to securing the financial resources necessary to support our operations.

FOR THE PETS!

Vet Mother Earth Vision

Our vision is to establish nonprofit charity veterinary clinics and hospitals that span across the country, beginning right here in San Diego.  We aim to upgrade the way we approach animal welfare in the USA.

We Are Seeking Volunteer Grant Writers

If you have experience finding and writing grants for start-up nonprofit organizations, please contact us to either research and/or submit them.

Letter from The Founder, Marc Emmelmann

Since the 1980s, the veterinary care market has increasingly fallen into the hands of corporate acquisitions. Today, the repercussions of this shift are alarming.

From skyrocketing veterinary costs to delayed treatments and premature euthanasia, the impact on pets and their owners is deeply troubling. There remains a significant gap in accessible and affordable veterinary care that needs to be addressed.

This is where Vet Mother Earth steps in.

My vision for nonprofit veterinary care is deeply rooted in a profound passion for animal welfare and a commitment to making a tangible difference. For over 16 years in San Diego, I have dedicated myself to various leadership roles, including General Manager and Executive Director of the San Diego Performing Arts League, Co-Chair of the Actors Alliance of San Diego, Marketing Manager with Just In Time For Foster Youth, and as a senior advisor in political campaign development. These experiences have equipped me with the skills and insights necessary to spearhead this initiative effectively.

At Vet Mother Earth, we are not just filling the gaps—we are creating a new paradigm of accessible veterinary care.

Our approach is modern, compassionate, and community-focused, ensuring that no pet suffers due to financial constraints or lack of timely medical attention.

I volunteer full-time at Vet Mother Earth and am honored to be among the initial group of 222 monthly founding donors. This commitment is not just a personal mission; it is a call to action for all who believe in the power of community and compassion.

We are at the beginning of an extraordinary journey, one that will transform the lives of countless pets and their families. Your support and involvement are crucial. Together, we can build a future where every animal receives the care they deserve.

Join us in this mission. Be a part of something groundbreaking. Be a part of Vet Mother Earth.
