Thank you for supporting our vision for a charitable veterinary clinic.
Vet Mother Earth (FED ID# 92-3375424) was founded with a dream: to create San Diego’s first charity nonprofit veterinary clinic grounded in compassion and community.
While that dream won’t be moving forward right now, we’re incredibly proud of what we did accomplishing including helping people cover vet bills and sponsoring a spay/neuter event in partnership with Pokie & Friends.
For now, we’ve made the difficult decision to shut down. This chapter is ending, but the story isn’t over. This isn’t good bye, it’s just see you later.

We started Vet Mother Earth because no pets should be left behind.
At Vet Mother Earth, we firmly believe that no pet should ever be turned away from receiving the medical care they need.
Our driving force is the unconditional love shared between humans and their animal companions.
But for many families, the soaring costs of veterinary care can be an insurmountable barrier which often results in delayed care, pets being rehomed, or sadly abandoned or euthanized.
Our mission is to bridge that gap. We are committed to establishing the first charity veterinary clinic in San Diego—a haven where pet owners, regardless of their income, can find solace knowing that their pets will receive the care they need. In the meantime, we’re helping pets in need access veterinary care in Mexico through the well respected and run Mexivet Express.
