1. Startup Costs:

   – Possible renovations and interior design: $10,000 – $20,000 (We will seek donated services to minimize expenses.) 

   – Equipment: $25,000 – $100,000 (When appropriate, we will purchase used equipment or get donations, etc., to minimize expenses.)

   – Initial inventory of medications and supplies: $5,000 – $10,000

   – Veterinary Licensing and permits: $1,000 – $5,000

   – Branding, Website, PR, Podcast : $0

2. Monthly Operational Expenses:

   – Rent or mortgage: $4,000 – $5,000

   – Utilities: $500 – $1,000

   – Staff salaries: $21K  (1 Full Time Veterinarian: $150K yr., 1 Full Time Veterinary Assistant: $50K yr., 1 Full Time Office /Communications Manager $50K yr.)

   – Volunteer Veterinarians ($0)

   – Insurances: $600 – $1,000

   – Supplies: $1,500 – $3000

   – Equipment maintenance: $500 – $1,000

   – Janitorial and cleaning services: $1000

   – Marketing and advertising: $1000 – $2000

   – Software subscriptions: $500

   – Continuing education and staff training: $500 – $1,000

Approximate Total: $33,000 per month ($396,000 per year)

 

3. Revenue Projections:

   – Number of appointments per day/week/month: TBD
   – Donations/Fundraising/Affiliate Programs/Sponsors: $400- 600K in 2024

5. Contingency Fund:

   – 5% Contingency Fund invested w/ 4.95% APR minimum.

 

6. Sustainability Fund:

    – 5% Sustainability Funds invested for 5 year, 10 year, 20 year and 30 year organizational distributions. Distributions are for organizational growth, building a 24/7 animal hospital, etc. We are actively investing in BTC, ETH, and SOLANA among others.
